Samsung ML-1865 review |Samsung ML-1865 is a black-and-white laser printer that is compact and inexpensive with wireless connectivity. Indeed, it looks more like a miniature inkjet printer, Samsung ML-1865 is one of the most compact printers we’ve seen yet. Combine this with a polished black casing, and is likely to prove something of a curiosity.
The design is practical as well, though. Paper (loaded to the bottom of the Samsung ML-1865W) can not be hidden by means of a typical laser, but the input and output paper trays enough that they can hold the media firmly both flexible and be neatly tucked away next. There already exists a thin inkjet feed force here, and 150 sheets supported making Samsung ML-1865 printer is a bit more powerful than you might expect, given the tiny size.
Samsung ML-1865 is not struggling for speed. In testing, it churned out text pages at a rate of 15.4 pages per minute (14.6ppm in the highest quality mode). This compares very favorably with the manufacturer’s figure quoted 18ppm. Once the page has come out of the printer for a few minutes, the quality of output is quite pleasant. Text is not perfectly formed, nor is the darkest we have seen, but the overall effect is very balanced.
